The
John Carey Blues Train will be embarking on a musical adventure this August
that will travel to Santiago, the Capital City of Chile.
Singer- Songwriter, Harmonica Master John Carey will be joined buy Narrator and Dancer
Constanza Pollier and a fantastic Group of local Musicians in Felipe Ruff on
electric guitar, Antonio Silva on Drums, Sebastian Cordoba on Bass Guitar and
Gustavo Albuquerque on Keyboards! Together they will invite the Chilean
audiences to get on board and take the John Carey Blues Train to Four Major Music cities in
the U.S., namely Chicago, Memphis, Santa Fe and New Orleans.
The first stop will be @ Union Station in
Chicago Ill., where John and the Band will perform a set of original music that
is directly influenced by the music of Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf and other
Masters of The Electric Chicago Blues Sound.
The John Carey Blues Train will then head
south to Central Station in Memphis Tn. This is where the spirit of the Blues
of BB King and the R&B of Otis Reading will be entrenched in John’s
original eclectic set of soulful southern styled Blues.
The next stop on the way will be a journey to
the land of Cowboys and Indians, The Southwestern Train Depot of Santa Fe New
Mexico. It is there where John’s previous music experience will be mixed with
the tribal sounds of the local Native Americans and the Country Music of the
area.
The
last Stop, at the end of the tracks, will be in the Lively Louisiana City of
New Orleans! This is here where Jazz, Funk, Zydeco and NOLA R&B are stirred
up together to make a tasty musical Gumbo with all of its classic Crescent City
flavor.
